Beacon shoots 1080p at 60fps through a glass lens with a physical shutter you can see from across the room. Exposure, white balance and field of view are adjustable from a small utility rather than being locked to an automatic mode that hunts mid-call. It clamps to laptop lids up to 22mm and has a standard tripod thread underneath.
